Most years on any 1 job and description:

Have worked for the same customer for 24 years on electromagnetics and spectrum management. Longest time at a company was called ERC/Ogden/Anteon Corp for 12 years. I've only been in 4 companies since being in the Army. Went government civilian 2 year ago, as a spectrum analyst.

Oddest or most fascinating job you ever had:

Musician...still fascinating. I guess I could expand...I have been a gigging musician for about hmmm...35 years...working with acoustic trios, duets and full 5 piece rock bands (woo hoo!). I have always been a lead vocalist but I give pretty good harmony too...I play rhythm guitar and really easy lead parts...mostly classic rock and a little country.

I currently work with an acoustic trio and work on recording in my home studio. Not sure I have enough energy these days for another rock band :)

Biggest Crush:

Not a chance.

Your Favorite Monache Teacher(s):

Mrs. Land

Music Genre most interested in:

rock

Favorite Band 1978:

bad company

Favorite Singer 1978:

paul rogers

Favorite Song 1978:

Stranglehold by Nugent

Favorite Band/Song/Singer 1978 to current:

beatles/paul rogers...lots of other stuff. I'm pretty eclectic about music...I love classical music as well as all rock (easy, hard, metal, speed metal, punk), a little country now and then. I don't like Polka, rap, hip-hop but am willing to listen to anything to see if it sparks my interest.

Favorite Fast Food:

Mexican

Favorite Restaurant:

Rosie's in Porterville (I am out of touch with the Mexican Restaurants in Porterville...so someone let me know what the best one is these days). The best Mexican food I have ever had was at a place called Los Quatros Milpas in San Diego. Underneath the Coronado bridge in Barrio Logan...right next to Chicano Park. Very simple food...a blue collar lunch counter...but at lunchtime, the line goes out the door and down the block with mostly people in suits, casual business dress etc.

Favorite Food:

Mexican

Best High School Dance Memory:

I was too cool to go to High School dances...what a dummy I was.

Favorite Pets name:

Buddy...RIP

Favorite Animal:

Dawg...I say Dawg boy!

Comments:

After graduation, served in Army intel and "special weapons" for 8 years and then got a job as a DOD contractor as a training specialist. Got married in 1984 and am still married to this amazingly tolerant woman. We have two children and one grand-child. Moved to several companies working with electromagnetics and spectrum management and then moved over to the government as a civilian spectrum analyst in 2012. I am a part time gigging musician, read lots and lots of books (mostly the horror genre), collect antique knives and ride motorcycles. Finally got a Harley in 2000 and now have a 2008 HD Street Bob.
